Nothing wrong with Maico drum/shoe front brakes
« on: May 28, 2009, 01:25:02 pm »
A small amount of effort in general approch will make/improve, any front expanding shoe type brakes. Including Maico. Especially Maico. ;D

As with Maico clutches a little bit of knowledge and thought can go a long way. ;D

yeah, just put everything how it should of been originally. IE. magura levers, good cable correctly routed and the right amount of springs, friction plates and steels. and that is about all you can do.
suppose you could try a hydrulic arangement, but the action on the clutch is verry long.
Just be thank full it doesent slip!
As for the front brake, i agree. if you set them up right the work well
