Why should the YZ125c be pre '75 legal? It's a designated 1975 model.

GdAY JONNYO JUST From what Basil said about it being on the floor in whites yamaha in december 74. Is this possible?

That the end to all those theory`s, Yamaha made to many models in a short time and too many models in one year.

Brett it is very possible that it was on the dealers floor in '74 as most new models come out before christmas but are designated models for the following year. Check the rulebook, it states the bike has to be a designated '74 or earlier model to qualify for pre '75.
