yes Tim if you could ask that'd be great. as you can see from the pic below mine is little to get excited about but it's the other parts I have that can complete the picture. The swingarm is stuffed, been cut and welded and it's bent. Have a good suspicion the frame may also have a whoop in it which would bring the whole deal to grinding halt ::)

1st pic is the DS chunder bucket project. Might have to call it The Phonix I think :D 2nd pic is another little unit waiting patiently for me to win lotto and buy it new plastics ;) and lastly, since we're talking mini's..did anyone spot the freshly rebuilt Puch Magnum X 50 on ebay down south for $650. It is still currently running without a bid ;)

Doc on ebay at present is a DS80 with a RM50 fitted The seller actually lived at my house when we were teenagers as we grew up.   220308544595 We long ago went our own different ways and dont see eye to eye on subjects ,but are still friends 40+ years later.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

KB, add the dunger to some of my spares and it starts to take form ;) also I have the orange guards and 80 wheels not in the view. Rather than have all this stuff racked I can now use it hence why I actually gave the man money for the wreck..not much but I did give a token amount :) if I'd entertained thoughts of a full resto I'd be pondering my sanity..even more ;D

Tim, I saw that little 50/80. Not bad but different to what I have in mind ;) I'd rather buy that or the Puch anyday for the same coin as a new chinese vessel ;)

I won't waste anymore forum bandwidth or time babbling on too much more till things get underway. This is kinda, with the emphasis on kinda, how I envisage things to go.

i like the look of that. let us know how you progress with it

If you built one out of a TS 100 you could actually register it aswell.

Thats true Leith, using say a 78 TS100 would be much the same. As much as there are models worth zac and pretty much useless shit these days if you have a little imagination and some bits you can do something with it that makes it something worthwhile. TS100 is another project I have up my sleeve and it'll be running nos RM100 barrel top end and ratios just like the little 80..why, because I have them sitting here like the RM80 stuff and it all bolts up and the bikes and bits are worth nothing. Otherwise it all just sits on the shelf forever as the models the parts suit aren't really sought after and I rarely sell anything because these projects do spring out of the blue. If I need to buy these bits again I'd probably pay a little more dearly now the dollar is down.

Greetings Jimson, swapping bits eh, well that's a different story ;D RM50 seat you say..hmmm..TS185 project..hmmm..you know seats are the one item I have few of..for obvious reasons my basket cases normally don't have the seats ::) been a pain in the ass over the years..literally! :-\ I'll have a look tomorrow, what you'd ideally be looking for is a pre 80 PE or pre 79 RM seat, nither of which I have :( Will double check but I don't think so. Hold the RM seat for a bit and I'll have a hunt around, gave my TS185 seat to Kawgirl many moons ago but I believe that project never eventuated and it was off loaded. The stock seats are a terrible shape anyways :-\
