Photo attaching
« on: February 16, 2021, 12:32:02 pm »
Hi everyone, It's been a few years since I have been on the forum and I seem to have forgotten how to attach photo's to my posts. I have photo bucket and it's active again.
Is there a step by step post that I can read up on please?

Regards Stan.

VTR Vinduro, thanks I will try but is it not possible on photobucket anymore?
All I want to do is ask for some advice on price of a rough IT200 that belonged to my nephew that passed away in 2019. His wife has asked me to help move it but I'm unsure what price to ask.

Regards Stan.

You can use Photobucket but i believe to view , people need the browser plug in.
i find it easier to hotlink to facebook.
In the reply box, first icon on the middle row is insert image command.
[ img] [ /img]

You will need the address code of actual pic and insert it between the Img BB code commands. No spaces ;)
Remember to use the preview button to make sure you have all the code stuff correct as you can still edit before posting.

So , what is the go now with Photobucket ? I originally used “Village Photos” on this forum to post images , before it folded and deleted all of the images that I had posted . Then I used Photobucket , until they changed to where I had to pay a subscription to post images . I didn’t wan’t to pay , so all of the images that I had posted were deleted again . I sort of lost interest in this forum then and drifted away . Is Photobucket free again now and if I sign up again , will it restore the images in my old posts ? Or am I better off using this other host ,  IMQUE ?

I tried to go back to Photobucket, I think my old photos are still there but they informed me that you can only have 250 photos then you have to pay. I have over 300 so I can't access them. I tried to delete a heap of the photos that I'm not interested in but Photobucket would not allow that either.
I only wanted to access some photos that I no longer have anywhere else, it seems that you have to pay the ransom to get them back.

I use imgur.

Same process as Photobucket, but they don't hold your photos to ransom. They want you to pay/ subscribe, but you can still use for free.
