1981 PE Head Stem Post
« on: August 16, 2008, 08:08:54 pm »
I have an 81PE400, I have had to change the Head Stem post (Had been modified for a different front end) I got a RM post and without paying to much attention got it pressed into the bottom triple clamp. Upon installation i found it is too short??? and I can't put the orginal front end back in until I find a original post?

Help anyone Please!

As I don't have the orginal one, is there a difference in length of the posts between PE & RM

If yes, does anyone have a PE post I can purchase?

Cheers
