ADB looking for YZ250's for photo shoot.
« on: July 10, 2016, 11:54:49 pm »
I have a request to put to forum members about a story being planned for ADB magazine. I've got an idea for a story for ADB but I need some blokes with running bikes in good unmodified condition.
I'm after a YZ250 from the 70's, 80's 90's and whatever the next decade is called, 01 to 2010.
1 bike from any year in each decade.
We'll need to get all the bikes together on the same day at a track near Sydney. Date to be arranged.
Do you have such a bike or know of anyone you could put me in touch with?

Cheers,
Warren Jack.

I've got a good 94. No sticker kit, aftermarket pipe, and stiffer springs F&R - is that standard enough?

I've also got an 87. Cosmetically challenged, and a WP shock, but otherwise stock and in original condition. It currently has some mechanical issues, but I'd be happy to bring it if I can sort it out in time.

Depending on time frame, I might even have my 92 WR-Z finished by then: It's a WR done to look like a YZ.

E74 on this site (Darren) in Sydney and has immaculate YZ250F 1979 - Show room original. He also has a 1980 YZ125G in the same condition, probably more top shelf Yamahas too, although he is also a Honda Fan. Look up Red Devil Racing for a contact number or send a PM to E74.

When people get negative about this forum, they should check the responses to the same question on facebook: Offers of 80s & 125s, offers of four strokes, offers of highly modified bikes, offers of YZFs...
The enthusiasm is great, but jeez...
