dave racing apollo bay must be with Rod? beach race Raglin near auckland and Invercargille as part of the Burt Munroe speed week every year.
Hope MA dont see this,was the sea bed approved?     Must be a quid in it and a way to stop these people having fun!!

Looks Good, We should head down to Bondi after the stg DT at nepean for a run....
I have a soft spot japanese mxers with aluminium tanks. Two stroke classic Dirt Track...

I think it has a lot of merit, the Beach Track gets chewed up, the next day you would know if anybody has walked on it, as the ocean smooth it all out for the next meeting.

Yes, I have built a couple of radical pipes for them as they are chasing extreme top end.

back in 74 our shop had a CR250M for beach racing,bored out to 450cc with triumph spitfire car piston on alchy,fun bike

Notorious one legged racer/party animal from Mackay Robbie Owens (Ashton) successfully raced an AW Maico fitted with a methanol burning 750 Triumph T140 engine on the beaches up in NQ. It was a dead set beast that  later went missing in action until it turned up with a new owner at the Wagga dirt track Nats a few years ago.
