Suction hose on yz465
« on: October 01, 2013, 08:17:22 pm »
I was wondering where and what the suction hose behind kick starter on crankcase does and where it goes as I can only find part on list I have waiting for cd with manual to turn up.

This should be just a gearbox breather. Basically a hose to nowhere. Some IT 465's have 2 breathers. I have one on the RH crankcase and one on the clutch actuating arm. Standard affair but some Yammies have extra little things like that between cross over models.
Let's face it some dirt bikes were never meant to be ridden.

Is it normal for the oil to leak out of the breather hose while bike is running ??

Wierd ... My 465H has the RHS one from the crankcase only and the 250H has the one on the clutch actuator only  :o
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible
