SWM number,

I just adding my 250 to the list,

AUS*SWM*RS250GSL*E*0016*

I think it was a blue bike with no signs of any other colour under the silver frame.

Chris.

A.J.Windor [ could be Windsor ] raced a 125 SWM on 7/8/83 in round 4 of the Yamaha 6 Day series at Toonumbar.
He came 6th in class which was pretty good because a LOT of the big boys DNF'ed that one.

Wonder where that bike ended up?

So Woolgoolga is a real place? Well I'll be darned ;D e Thought it was Wollongong with the spell checker going crazy! Mid north coast sounds like a very laid back place....

Bunch of Woolgoolga guys used to come up to sunny QLD to race in the Yamaha 6 day series and I got to know the Woolgoolga bike shop owner who sold a lot of KTM's.
Haven't seen him for a long time now.
Fell off a pushy and damaged himself if I remember right .

Those guys were so laid back I don't know how they kept their bikes upright and I'me stuffed if I know how they raced as that stuff they smoked slowed you down , so I'me told. ;)
They probably won't remember any of the time they spent up here  :o

KTM must stand for Karma Through Marijuana. No wonder those KTM boys run their bikes with plenty of two stroke oil.  They like their bikes to run smokey!

I have the very first SWM to come to Australia.
It is a 50cc Enduro bike.
Frame number is AUS0001.
