I know there is one SWM in WA, an ex works bike ridden by a UK rider, name I can't remember, believe the bike is an 81, but I could be wrong

I know where this bike is........... In my shed. Was waiting for the time and $$ to do it up. Have managed to track down new plastics and parts for it. Was intending to start the resto shortly, however change of situation and will be putting it up for sale shortly. It's a 80 or 81 GS250. Same as the pictured one below your post.

Cheers.

What a great find.  I'd touch up the paint on the motor and that would be it.

Is there a bolt missing from the top triple clamp?

History?

Hi gents from SOuth AFrica-I am  a collector and recently acquired an immaculate 1982 SWM 250 - the bike is immaculate and all that is missing is the tool cover and rubber straps on the fuel tank. Can anybody direct to where I can get a replacement? I would greatly appreciate the help.  Please send me an email to [email protected] REgards Gavin WIlliams

Thank you - really appreciate the help. Will order in the next few days- intending to race the SWM in a two day vinduro in March 2011 in South AFrica- think it is the real deal- twin shocker (FOx) air-cooled Rotax . once again thanks from SOuth AFrica. Crabman
