Suzuki RM N/T chain guides
« on: November 01, 2011, 09:03:09 pm »
I'm Starting on a rebuild of a RM250N It has some major scars from chain derailments and I'm wanting to know what is the best setup from those who race N's or Ts. I picked up a "T" rear guide but I dont have a "N" tensioner any advice would be appriciated.
Cheers Nob

If you look on the cover of the latest VMX mag you'll see Gunters 400 with a KTM chain guide on it, I've fitted them to a few bikes now, there cheap as chips from KTM, piss off the spring loaded tensioner and run a T guide on the front of the swingarm.....Ive used a YZ85 guide on a RM125T aswell, just made some trick looking plates up for the sides.
QVMX.....Australia's #1 VMX club......leading the way.

Nobby,

I have a RM400N with the standard rear guide and tensioner plus the T model chain guide fitted around the swingarm (top roller removed by previous owner) and i have never had a chain de railment, i ride the bike pretty hard and have been warned but its all good.
