Looking for a hitachi cdi unit for my 75 mx250 or any other brand that will fit/work.
2000 Yamaha WR400f
1980 Suzuki RM250t
1977 Suzuki RM125b                                         
1975 Yamaha MX250b
1973 Yamaha mx360 (on the rebuild table)                                                               
1972 Yamaha dt1 250
1976 Suzuki ts 185

EBAy - they just keep coing up.

125/250/360/500 will all work, just the plugs change to more or less.

I have just sucessfully put a KT 250 one on mine , it works well
If in doubt ,WIND IT OUT

asasin whats the availability on those units and is it hard to adapt.

KT 250 ignition cdi was easy to find  and I was able to use a MX/DT pickup and rotor on the motor ( that bit was a bit hard to find) if you have a electo sparky or tech friend the hookup is not too hard, I can give you a drawing if you end up with these parts
 It is on a YZC 250 motor , gives it good low end response and gets the timing out before pinging in mid range
