thats where a smoother more downpipe friendly track has it's merrits.
the older folk are more able to partake in thier beloved sport and in some cases, catch a glimpse of the good old days, possibly on the very same machine they raced back in thier day.
perhaps the modern mini brigade would be more compatable with pre75 stuff.
as in, 65cc or smaller on the same track. no huge upramps for the kiddies to tackle and Mum & Dad can ride vmx.

In tassie we have had to incorporate moderns at our club days to make up the numbers needed to pay the ambo's and the other costs.
the track does whoop out towards the end of the day but we run the older bikes early in each round and it works out ok mostly.
many new vmx members have come from the moderns and their families with the dads racing vmx and the kids on their modern bikes.
