t/tree question

Different question I am putting a disc front end on my pe400 using a ts250x front end any way the ts triples have a different stem setup length I don't think they will work with out a fair bit of stuffing around so my only other option is some pe175z triples or I bore the originals the 36mm pe400 ones would it be safe to take them to 38mm or do I need to will 36mm trees work on the 38mm forks?

Hi frosty, Check the dimensions?

Can you just take the stem out of the PE tripple and put it in the TSx tripples?

That is what I have done to a couple of my projects, admittedly my projects are not your exact order, but in my case, it was just what the doctor ordered.

Yes probably could do that using the stock pe headlight if I got my hands on a ts250x speedo it would be a good combo I need a spedo I have bought excel rims etc etc going to make an oldie to ride and keep up/beat the new ones. ;)
