I've had little or no problems with either new or old versions of Photobucket until the last couple of days. While uploading a photo it gets to  around 77% of the upload and it freezes..or just stops.  I like to upload photos and this is frustrating me almost to monitor smashing level ::). I must admit that I much preferred Village Photos even though they went down with 25000 + of my photos. It was much smoother to use in my opinion.

Obviously you have tried to "refresh" when it freezes Firko. Try blocking all the adds including 999,999 visitor crap that oldfart won. Anyhow, what did you win Oldfart?

Can I ask you if the gentleman in your Maicoletta photo is Jake "The Peg" Rolf Harris or is it Spike Milligan?

I still reckon it's Barry Crocker in Nazi SS disguise:

It’s been painfully slow for me too, so much so that I had all but given up.
It even kept freezing when trying to add a new category.

I changed back to the old system a while back because the new system was so slow but I don’t think we have a choice anymore because they have dumped the old system all together.

Today though my internet reset and I had some success uploading which makes me think it’s all about the internet connection, if you have a slow system you will have trouble.
I even have trouble logging in here some days

Still, I might have to look for a new photo host.

Well that worked okay.
Think I will give photobucket the arse and just link directly from my own website, I have heaps of storage on there.

Oddly, my Photobucket is working fine now. The wobbly period lasted about four days and disappeared as quickly as it had arrived. Oh sweet mysteries of life :)

The correct term used for electronic or electrical "gremlins" is actually 'poltergeists'. OK just being a of pedantic bugger :D
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
