"INVESTIGATIONS surrounding last night's death of Gold Coast motocross rider Michael Robinson are continuing today to determine whether he died from a heart attack or injuries.
Mr Robinson, of Pimpama, was with his two children at the Gold Coast Motorcross juniors' night at Reedy Creek when a jump turned tragically wrong.
Police said they were investigating whether the man died from his injuries when he hit the ground or if it was due to any medical conditions including a heart attack.
The 39-year-old man came off his motorcycle at Reedy Creek on Old Coach Road about 7pm.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene.
Investigations are continuing."
