Yamaha YZ/IT TLS brake help
« on: May 23, 2009, 01:05:41 pm »
can any owners of a TLS brake on a YZ or IT help with wtih these measurements?

measurements 'C' & 'D' - center to center of pivots/pins

measurement 'A' - center of  lower cam to center of pivot (red arrow pointing to 'point 1') measuered inline with blue line

measurement 'B' - center of pivot pin to center of hole in end of lever for cable ( from point 1 to point 2) I would like this measurement measured in line with the blue line and inline with the green line (on an angle) to see if they are they are the same or not. So basically if you could imagine the lever was straight and there was a straight line between all 3 points (blue line) if measuement 'B' would still be the same as it is just measuring inline with the green line

Thanks for your help

Isn't "D" variable?
The linkage is adjustable isn't it?

thats a good point.

it probably wont matter though, the most important measurements i needed were the lever lengths.
