Sorry,  SO YOUR SAYING  MY REAR WHEEL IS NOT PRE65, BUT THE REST OF THE BIKE IS. OR
YOU ARE TRYING TO SAY THAT MY COMPLETE HUSQVARNA AS IT STANDS IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE RACED IN THE PRE 65 CLASS, WHERE IT STATES IN THE GCR THAT ALL 250 BOLT UP FRAME HUSQVARNA ARE ELIGIBLE.
IF YOU CHECK OUT THE BIKES IN VMX THEY TOO HAVE THE SAME REAR WHEEL AS MINE.

The 1967 hubs started out on the Silverpil model Huskys up to the end of 1967, the 68 hub was the same dia as the 67 but was modified with an improved bolt and nut mounting arrangement to attach the brake drum.

The new improved hub in 69 was a one piece casting with a 160mm brake drum which gave an increase in the swept area compared to the 140mm 67 and earlier hub. Some may say Husky brakes were poor at best, saying that i am sure there would be some increase in braking performance with the later hubs. These hubs were used up to 78-79, i think this performance increase, and the hub being from a later would not qualify the bike in pre 65, pre 70 would be the class it should run in. However if you changed the hub to a 67 it would be able to run in pre 65.

I think the best place to track down a 67 hub would be Vintage Husky.
I have also resent the photos of my 67 360 Viking to you.
Thanks Peter.

See this one for the right hub.

Dazzled by science eh Dave? ;) Nobody knows old Huskys better than Husky 67. Yammiefan also comes from a long time Husky background so it's really hard to pull a swifty when these blokes are watching.

I meant it as a generalisation mainly to show how knowledgable Husky 67 and Yammiefan are. You're not dodgy at all Dave.
