This question may have been raised before, but if you fit parts from the period, does that include what factory teams were using, or is there a clause that states only equipment sold to the public?
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting,  ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! ' '

Well No

Why well 1st the parts you fit to your bike must come from the time of the class you want to race in.

If you fit yamaha YZ 250cc 1983 forks to Yamaha TT500cc 1977 well your TT is Now a EVO .

If you Fitted a Aluminum swing arm of a 1979 ktm 250 to your 1974 ktm250 then you change the bike from Pre 1975 to a pre 1978 .

You see how it goes.

But you can fit a New parts made in 2008 like Piston , Rods , Shocks But the travel but be to the same as the OME stuff .
you get the driff.

( PS tony I will post you that Info you needed tomorrow)
