I had my Konis rebuilt and they failed, i used them again after another service on the weekend meet an now they are pissing oil out of the top adjuster this time and neither shaft seems to have any rebound at all and slam like a poooooned 70s screen door, if yours are slow on the rebound let me swap you, i want slow rebound not pogo. Im dying to find any normal twins shocks that offer true rebound adjustment, they all seem to be all compression dialed and the rates dont seem to change anyway ?
Do they actually make a twin shock thats pre 75 legal that has rebound adgustment ? I had an "off track expert" tell me at the race meet when he saw it leaking you cant use adjustable shocks on a 2 stroke cause it vibrates the valves /seals out, now call me crazy but i have never heard that story, i would have thought the 3 ft air pounding back to earth would cause more dysfunction., but im willing to bow to the brains trust here.
Is there any truth to this story i cant see it, but might save me making the same mistake if it is. may have saved me the 100 bucks i wasted getting them fixed, maybe look at another brand ?
Also on a side note how pre 75 legal are Valve emulators and Gas filled for that matter???
