Rides in QLD, NSW
« on: February 18, 2020, 03:36:17 pm »
I’m hoping to head to Wagga in the next few months, Mar, April, May.

I’ll be driving from Darwin via QLD-NSW then back the same way.

I’d like to put together a list of events so I can work out what and if I can attend some of them.
I’m looking for vintage trail rides, vintage enduros and/or organised trail rides for modern bikes. I’m looking at bringing my Suzuki PE250B and my KTM Freeride.
The ultimate would be a two day event on a weekend and another two weeks later so I can ride, see family, ride again and go home.

Thanks

Brent
The older I get, the faster I was

A slightly odd and disappointing situation.
I suspect some bitterness between previous allies.

A disappointing turn of events for sure. Hardly productive for the sport.

There are all ways 2 sides to a story - but when classic dirt pick a whole new date and then connondale go with same weekend only 1 side looks like F---tards

what a forking stupid thing to do, it will split punters between both events sabotaging BOTH events. most punters will
pick the one with least travel.

moronic idea if it was planned that way by a vindictive party

Hi Baza
Please come to Classic Dirt and have a small glass of beer with me. You are welcome at my place should you need accommodation coming and going.
In regards to the bullshit of conflicting dates , I have tried to give the SSCMC the benefit of hearing there side of events but they cant seem to defend the un-defendable.
I would like riders to remember that clubs go thru fazes and the driving force for a few years becomes yesterdays drained forced. We have no way of knowing in a few years time whether SSCMC will have any interest in Vintage let alone run a event , what we do know is VMX magazine has a commercial interest in our sport and will continue to promote our sport so there for I will support CD again. What a shame it would be if both events died from lack of support but if Im forced to chose its a easy choice.
