this is another pair Im unsure about these at the top are 29mm and the fork shaft is 33mm and it also has a brake stay arm on it what do you think?

They look Suzuki to me, perhaps early TM250/400 they used a torque arm to the brake backing plate. They look to be in fairly nice shape whatever they are.

the tm didnt have the double attachment where the brake arm bolted on are  the forks 29 mm where they fit into the tripple clamps ? if they are i might be keen to buy them  for the tm 125 i got from you

Jimson, these particular forks look like early TY250 jobs. I 'think' they're 34mm at the seals. Could these measure out at 34mm perhaps and not 33mm??

late edit..nope I was wrong! The brake stay mount is in the wrong place my new guess is '73 CT1 175 Yam

i say they're early 70's honda!,SL/CL250/350??,definately the brake anchor arrangement!,locking plates a givaway,someones just got creative with the latheworks my guess,

I think they're Hatta forks from a Kawasaki of some sort. F11 possibly?

The regular F11 forks have a more oval outa lower casing, no machined area and no brake stay, the 350 hatta I have and have seen had the brake torque arm mount but also the 3 way axle setup so I don't think either of those. SL/CL350 is sounding like a good chance too and I'm kinda of now thinking the machining is not factory

I recken early Yamaha roadracer,maybe TA,TD,TR,TZ.Who would go to the trouble of machining the staunchions and not taking off the forkleg guard mounts.Yamaha had machined  staunchions on early YZs and MX250B,MX400Bs.Look outside the square big ears.Cheers.

Nope, completely different - had screw on seal holders and steel sliders. Not the later RD style either.

Many forks had the 'waisted' staunchions between the triples. As much for style as weight savings .

If CL350's had the waist they would be the best bet; everything else fits IIRC.
