An engine must be lubricated, I have never blown up motor, always used a fuel mix of 25.1. never had a problem.

always use a quality oil...ive run 100:1 ..never had an issue ;D hardly make any smoke....

in summary I rekon this is a good rule of thumb...

pre 78 --25:1 mineral

a/c post 78 --25:1 mineral - 40: 1 synthetic

L/c 40:1 synth.

how does that sound??
