There is a very interesting omission in the Classic MX/DT Commission minutes dealing with rule changes posted on the MA WEB site.
As many would be aware Heaven VMX and QVMX submitted a set of proposed rules for the Evolution class along with some other proposals
The proposed EVOLUTION rules were discussed and not agreed by the Commission and made open for further comment. It is interesting that 4 critical points have been removed or left out of the minutes. The proposed rules submitted are set out below while the points marked in red do NOT appear in the Commission minutes.
These very points that allow safety upgrades like the Maico brake backing plates, period radial fin cylinder heads or other things like period swingarms have been removed or left out.
We can only assume this is an innocent mistake. These very points were used to ridicule the proposed rules at a very recent meeting. We will be taking the matter up with MA.
