TM250/125 tanks

anyone onow if a TM125 tank will fit a TM250 with out any bracket mods - on the L and M models?

Jumbo..... yes they do fit into front mounts but won't drop into cross bar cushion (  easy fix ) and because tank is shorter rear bracket needs attention.
Nothing too hard to make it fit and no serious mods required  ;)

thanks for that oldfart - good to know. i'm after a tank for my 250 and havn't had any luck here or anywhere else. But theres a few 125 tanks pop up from time to time.  BTW would you also happen to know if a 74 swingarm will fit straight on to a 75 frame without frame modification. i've been told that the 75 has a larger pivot bolt.

I just put a 125 tank on mine, thing is the seat will come up short of the tank and leave a gap between them. I now need a 250 tank for mine anyway cause the bike is now on methanol and wont last 25 laps dirttrack...
