There's quite a few XS650's running around the dirt tracks of Australia like those of Herbie Conlon, Mark Peatman and others but all but a few don't appear to be set up properly. The go with those bikes seems to be to just knock all the weight out of the frame and not touch the wheelbase or steering angle. On track dynamics aside, they don't look right and I reckon they'd turn better and be much more manageable with a rake change and some suspension work. I'd love to see a few more set up like the above bike.
