Before i go changing the seals and pulling the motor apart what sort of special
tools will i need besides the flywheel puller. Can anyone give me a quik heads up.
Thanks Andrew
Bit off topic...
Just drained the gear oil out of my CZ400 and only got 50mls ?? WTF is going on ..
Do they chew a bit of oil or is this normal ???
Been told to put in 500ml of castrol mtx 80 is this the correct amount.
Bit confused any help much appreciated.
Cheers Andrew
Andrew, change the crank seal. That thing is sucking in oil as the oil was changed just before you bought it.

Hi Andrew,
you wan't need a flywheel puller as the flywheel is on the air side and will not be sucking oil
you may need a normal type 3 prong bearing puller to remove the primary gear on the left side after you have taken of the clutch and primary driven gear.
You may also need a clutch spring remove tool.
where are you I can lend you these if needed
good thing is you do not need to split the cases.
try here to help you through.

I guess you're thinking if 1 seal needs doing then may as well do both for peace of mind.

You won't need a flywheel puller for the primary drive side unless the bike has a full circle crank rather than the later pork chop type.

The whole job isn't a biggie & is easily done with the motor still in the frame

VMX unlimited has the tools if you decide you need to own your own set

Actually just had a brain fade moment,
on side pipe CZ primary side gear  uses same puller as flywheel, maybe not needed but easy, not sure if this is same on later models,
have a puller you can borrow anyway.
