I have the RM500 tls brake on my DR400. I've tried all sorts to make it work well, different compounds, new skimmed hubs, heavy duty cable. Basically it's worse than the standard DR400. I too have heard good things about the Honda TLS conversion, but I have no actual experience with it. It may well be pants too.
