can't agree more!my son grew up  when i racing dirt track.we went through the pee wee 50 / rm 50 thing at a young age,but he never showed that much interest. we whent through the football/basket ball stage. In his younger teens he got a bit off the rails. My soloution buy him a Kx 100 ! I didn't have a bike at the time, but would take him out to menai every sunday morning. Didn't take to long before I was scanning the trading post lookin for a bike to ride. The rest is history we now trail ride every time he's back in town (he works in the mines and is motor cycle mechanic by trade ) we have ridden cape york together an do the odd bit of dirt track when we can. dirt bikes have given my son and I a great bond and many great memories

Great stuff Piney.  I hope he makes it to CD9 ... where Curley and I will convince him to take that lovely Maico of yours out for a thrashing  ;D

Cheers
Craig

Great subject Chrisdespo !   ;D

My father taught me the right way when I was just 5 on an almost new 1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore.

Fast forward almost 37 years from then, and here is a picture I took just today of my 7 year old having his very first solo run on a..... you guessed it..... 1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore !    ;D ;D ;D ;D

Proud dad moment for sure!

;D  so Curley was able to get me in .. awesome.  I'll try and catch up with him over the phone to discuss arrangements.

Is Simo bringing his Tash? ; ;)

Will see if she's available for the weekend ... if not then it's 'tash free weekend which is fine as there won't be any interference with the bikes and benchracing  ;D
