IT175 J rebuild

progress is a little slow on this build but every step taken is a step forward 

i bought this bike in reasonable good condition so the rebuild has been quite easy so far (no rusty or frozen bolts) there were a couple of broken lugs on the frame and also a hair-line crack just below the down tube
(mid welder fixed that)

this is how far i am into the rebuild now, i'm just spinning up a couple of teflon rollers for the swing arm

How was the frame prepared? Wire wheel and elbow grease?

frame prep was with paint stripper...about three separate coats then the almighty drill and wire wheel 
it's a bit of hard work but I had plenty of time to burn 

i also coated the frame with rust kill prior to priming

the pipe i had on the bike had a few hard hits....so I plugged both ends.. one end with an air valve and pumped about 30psi into it....then with the oxy popped out the dents...i will post pics in the day light...but I also mocked the 175 with an IT 200 DG pipe...damn close fit 





not sure which pipe to go with (depends on the fit) cause i don't intend chopping the 200 pipe

here's the wiring loom i prepared earlier...damn i hate wiring but it was all there and three hours later

hopefully when its installed it works
