Too much BLING??

Is this an original hub or just a touch of bling ?

Thats a period mod - problem is the period is early 70's on a bike thats probably running early 60's class or at least pre '70.

It's a '71+ Triumph/BSA "conical hub" specifically.

Oh and heres a matching front from the same period ('71+) - thing is Triumph/BSA didn't seem to understand that their sensational new conical hubs had already been superseded by just about everyone else with disc brakes .... and the previous brake was a lovely twin leading shoe ffs.

.....but quite legal for pre ' 65. I'm not overly in love with the holes either, I can see the hub filling with mud in crappy conditions.
