Photo will help big time showing case etc. Also is it a Nippon seiki or Nippon Denso? I would say its late 70's TF or TS at a guess without seeing it.
Also SP370 has brown face. I have some 76 TS250/400 speedos and they are pretty much the same as PE but black face and better internals.

Nippon Seiki every thing is the same as a pe just no trip meter and knob and tops out at 120 km/h still  if it will work on the pe thats where it will go ,by the comments id say its a ts/tf it also has green paint sealer under side id not seen before

Didnt you sell a proper PE speedo on ebay a while ago? Strange you cant reset the trip meter knob, but that tells me it was left off as a budget thing (cheaper) and that further strengthens the idea its off a cheaper trail type model. If i find some time i will try and research the part number (gotta try find some TF parts books). Quick google search wouldnt bring up anything for that number which indicates its probably specific to NZ/Australian markets, most likely small TS or TF 100/125/185cc. if we can work out what its off, we will then know the tyre size and can look up the gearing in the hub to know if it will read correctly on a 21 x300 tyre and the with the PE's hub gearing. It could also be off a small under 250cc road bike.

I have a Yamaha speedo that is a Nippon Seiki that has no trip meter and tops out at 120 kph, lens is 52mm dia main body is 54mm. but again it has a black face with white lettering.
My TS125 parts book covers the K model through to the B and that part number is not listed it is not off something like a T125 stinger?

Leith I have the TC and TF parts books and it's not either of those. That's what made me think possibly RL especially as it's old style, only goes to 120kph, no neutral or indicator idiot lights, no trip meter and no parts listing that matches. Kinda like the optional TS kits parts, they exited but very few parts books after the early 70's show them or the corresponding part numbers.
