Don't worry, the ABC is preparing for an 'Encore Screening' of the Bill.

So by my calculations I will be 76 by the time that is finished… in time for a Classic Repeat [or 2].

Paul McDerrmot and Mikey Robins when on JJJ mornings would have 'The Bill' trivia. With questions like can you name all the 'estates' and can you do your best radio call in "Serria three zero I'm in pursuit of an IC 1 male , last seen headed toward the Larkmede Estate, can you show us dealing over".
Successfull ABC shows usually get repeated on Ch 7 ad nauseum

The final episode screened tonight with thankfully a return to the original character based police procedural format rather than some dodgy soapie. They must have draged some old writers out of the woodwork. Next week is a retrospective on the entire history of the show, they had a snippet of the careers that were launched from appearences.

When Inspector Brownlow left and the evil inspector Inspector Tom Chalmers took over it turned into a soap opera and I stopped watching. I reckon it was at its best with Frank Burnside, pissy Ted Roach and  dodgy Don Beech. ;)

ITV has axed The Bill after 27yrs of saturday night viewing.  :'( What do we watch now?

Pornhub.com ????.... or get with the times, I watch all my TV on line, movies the lot streamed to my door. Nothing like choice. Even our local Blockbuster is virtual these days, the DVD is dead. ;D
