Where should CD7 be held? Remember, this is just to see what people think, it's not a formal part of any decision making the guys from VMX might be doing!

Cmon guys, this topic is just meant to gauge peoples opinions on where CD7 could be held. It does not, repeat, does not represent the views of VMX Magazine or anyone else really for that matter.

Also let's not drag it down with the state versus state thing. Australia is a big place and of course with all the various constraints like cost, profit, support, sponsors etc it's not going to be easy to satisfy everyone all of the time.

That said, it's fascinating reading and I like the passion being shown. VMX fans are nothing if not passionate and robust discussion has to be good. Even if some of us do get a bit hissy about it all, eh Ross?

Anyways, just a reminder to keep the topic on track and not get too personal about it all.

As this is not an MA title event, but rather an enthusiast-specific, VMX mag-run blast for enthusiasts old and new, then let's all just chill the hell out and accept the umpire's decision...VMX mag guys can run it wherever and whenever they want, and in light of previous, and indeed recent successes, we'll go wherever it's held, and have a ball, with a horde of happy, like-minded punters.
Are we clear, VMX ? Put it on, and we'll be there... ;)
Nostalgia's not what it used to be....

Strangely I seem to be losing interest, perhaps the shit fights, innuendo and perceived lack of common sense are alienating me. Tim754
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

The "Classic Dirt" events' are what you make of them no matter where they are and if you really want to go to one you'll make the effort no matter where it is. Its just up to you and how committed you are.
If at first you dont succeed, give up and drink beer

If only Lozza! :D.

I know from the past that Conondale can get cold but at least we could offer great weather. At present 17-20 overnight (cold for me) and mid 20's during the day. No humidity.
Sad to say that's the only thing going for an event here.

I am planning on making next years event, where ever it is.

The older I get, the faster I was
