I am after a PE 250 T/X pipe. I have a nice RM 250 T pipe or cash to trade or buy.

For the moment, I am wanting to swap.
The PE pipe I cut, 78 or 79 from memory, had 2 solid metal(tin) plates spot welded in the fat part of the pipe- each with one smaller opening in the middle. About 2-3 fingers thick with the verniers.

that would have been the C pipe or perhaps an N.
The C definately had the restrictors to quieten things down.
If you have an early PE, this definately was a sound and performance killer.
The T and later did not have that, but did have a wire-mesh lining the chamber to stop the drumming / racket that the RM pipe would generate.
