Hi all, after talking to several people Brad Lewis's name keeps coming up for info or parts for my 504. Would anyone have his number? I understand he's in Inverell?

Wanted / Wanted XT600e clutch basket

Gents I'm after a XT600e (electric start) clutch basket, just the basket I have no need for the other clutch parts, it has 71 teeth on the gear drive and should be stamped 5Y1.

This is all that's stopping this engine from running

General Discussion / Troutman and Barnes, mojave 450 honda desert racer

I'm trying to find out more information on these bikes with the view of building a replica (love to find an original). This is a long term project so i don't mind the chase and research

Built in 1966 using a Honda CB450 K0 4 speed engine with little mods except for the Webber carb. I have the original June 1968 Cycle world magazine that featured this bike, and know of one that was restored by a member of the US VJMC. Apart from that, these photo's are all I can find.



I would love to find a webber manifold, these were used on several customs, this one fitted to a Brian Littler road frame. One was for sale 4 years ago on ebay and i passed it up as a curiosity will we ever learn!

Introductions / New poster but old lurker

Hi guys and gals like many others I'm a lurker that just likes to sit back with a cold beer and read the news of the VMX world, smile at the memories and wonder what might have been. Currently running an XT600 and DT400, with some plans to build up a 75 DT400 for competition (super novice or Z class yep I'm that good).

Living and working in Brisbane with a very understanding wife and hoping to meet some locales one day for a beer and talk some BS (bike shit).
