Hoony ... sadly he had a fire which destroyed everything. Donations were sent forward, but nothing came of it.

it was a pretty simple set up, from what I saw.  fabricating  the molds would of been the most time  consuming part.

Bought a few parts off him before his misfortune.  His work excellent and still going strong today.
From memory he was from around Brisbane

What material have they used ??  as the unknown fuels of today destroy most plastics. If its PPE as most are,  the fuel vapours will play havoc with decals.

All boils done to what condition your Rod is in .....the rest is all basic engine skills on how you pull it apart, having the correct
 tools
All bearings I buy from a bearing shop >>>note ask for C3
buy NOS crank seals and the rest from your bearing supplier
I make all my own gaskets
best advise I can give you is .....have a clean bench and take plenty of pics if you are first timer

I will not use Vmx Unlimited, for the above reason stated above ...... they do not carry stock. Takes a deposit and then buys the parts in from supplier which could take up to a month
Sadly the Business is not what it used to be When Les operated it.
