KTM / KTM 250 1988 gearbox oil

So, my 250 lives again . Had the rotted water pump cover but with Russell Brown's expertise he cast a new one and all is good.
I thought the gearbox oil capacity was around 600ml but I am not certain. The old mag cover that probably had it cast on there is
in the bin so I thought I would check. Also., I have been using Castrol MTX. Is ATF  a better option? Thanks.

KTM / Clutch Cover 1988 KTM 250

The magnesium clutch cover on my 88 250 has,predictably, rotted out.
This is the blue cover that also includes the water pump. I have "liquid steeled" it
twice but now she is beyond repair and I need to source another one.
I have emailed Andre with no luck. There was a rumour that someone was recasting these in alloy
but I have had no luck with Google or Ebay.
Hoping that someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

Wanted / Yamaha DT air filter cage

So, I am helping a mate bring his 81 DT175 roaring back to life.
Found it in a pretty bad way down on his mates farm but we are slowly
getting it back together.
Took the airbox cover off expecting a crumbly airfilter and found worse. No filter at all.
So, the local yam shop has him sorted for a filter element but we have no plastic filter cage.
The yam shop told us the dreaded "NLA" according to the computer for the cage and fleabay is no help
so wondering if anyone has one.

Husqvarna / Fork seals for the 40mm

Looking to buy a dozen or so fork seals to sort out a few of my 83 and 84 Huskys. Are there any choices here other than OEM.? Also,the best place to buy?

Just got the lower legs back from the chromers on my 88 250 gs. I was wondering the fork oil capacity of each leg.

Husqvarna / 500cr carb bits

G'day all, I have a 1984 Husky 500cr  and I am looking for bits for that monster Mikuni carb (44mm?)
Specifically I am looking for  bowl gaskets to stop the thing leaking like a sieve.
Fired her up today for the first time this year. Arm stretching fun!

Suzuki / RM400 restrictors in expansion chamber

Ok so my mate pulls the pipe of his 79 rm400 and it sounds like someone has left a screwdriver inside. Cuts it open to reveal a metal plate with a 30mm hole and a say 150mm perforated pipe welded to it( this had broken off, that would be the noise then.) This is all in the pipe, NOT the muffler.
Havent come across this before. Was this stock on these?. Anyway, it is all cut out and welded back up ready for sandblasting etc. Is there backpressure issues?

This is the first time that I have offered this bike for sale. This is a 1984 Husqvarna 500 CR. Yes, it is the genuine 4 speed motocross model. The engine is only a couple of hours old after a new piston etc. and the gearbox shifts sweetly. Just not getting to ride it enough. Last time was CD 7 the time before that CD 6. This bike needs to go to someone who will give it a regular pizzeling.

One time, firm low price for a quick sale. $5000.
