The Yamaha 2t WR250, the Wr450 gearbox bolts straight in they also make genuine flywheel weight for them. why dont they still make them? If Yamaha made them with lights ADR compliant I recon they would sell. The US sales rule everythin. There laws on emisions determin up what Japan makes.

Kdx 200 if they had a little better suspension

A softer 350/400 with a broard spred of power 2t trail bike with electric start lower seat hight like the Drz but lighter, KTM have sort of done it with the freeride 250 but its more trials orentated. It needs a better seat and biger tank. something the average Jo can maintain with limeted expens.

I'm not sure what internet sites to go on but I work in Asia a bit, there is about 3 billion small bikes running around with disc brakes and small dia forks.
But I'm with euro bikes keep it standard, if you can.

Double check your awnser Geoff.
 3.6 m/rev X 5700 RPM = 20520 m/min X 60 = 1231200 m/h divide by 1000 to get kph, 1231.2 kph
Even a well tuned rt1, down hill, wont get to those sorts of speed.

Tech Talk / Re: Pyramid parts fork seals
« on: May 11, 2014, 09:42:03 pm »
I bought 2 sets a few years ago 1 set for my Montesa, Montesa's run 4 seals, 2 seals on each leg 7mm thick they sent 2 10mm thick. Wrong part I put them in but they leaked after the 1st ride.
Seconed set for my YZ/WR 250 seconed ride leaked.
I reacently bought another set for an old Honda CT125 wrong size again but they sort of fitted (its an old dungger so I don't realy care).
0 and 3, I will never deal with them again. My advice is, pay a little extra and you will be better off in the long run.

I have a 75 enduro frame, sitting around, it's had the shock mounts moved to a more upright position (not a very good job). Alot of the tabs for the airbox, sidecovers and pipe gaurd have been removed.
It's located in Sale, I can email you some photos if you want.

I was working with Allan Roberts before Xmas, he told me the time and money it cost him, just to get there. All he wanted to to do is finish. What an amazing effort to all the Australians.

From memory KTM only made 350,500 and 540 in there big bore 2t in 1990. Looks in pretty good nick for its age.
