Thanks Gday, I've just dropped Motoduro an email asking if they can help me.

Thanks Nathan S, just the sort of info I was after.

Cheers,

Hello KDX200 experts,

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help me with some info?

I'm currently working on a KDX200 1988 C3. The rose joint bearings at each end of the dogbone rear suspension link are "Donald ducked", as indeed is the rose joint at the top of the rear shock.

I can get replacement rose joint bearings from Kawasaki. But the price they want for them is properly mad. So I've been looking for an aftermarket kit of rose joints such as those from "All Balls". But all the aftermarket rose bearing kits seem to be for 1989 and newer KDX200's.

So my question to you is:
Would a rose bearing kit from "All Balls" for a 1989 KDX200 still fit a 1988 KDX200?
If the answer is "no", does anybody know a dealer of rose joint bearing that would be worth trying? The bearing dealers I have tried locally (Adelaide) have drawn a blank for me.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
Nathan (HBS).

Sorry Ian, forgot to add that I'm still in Adelaide and not Tassie, but did appreciate your offer (blimey, forum posting is harder than it seems. Hopefully I'll get into the swing of it soon.)

Hello everybody, I haven't posted in ages (and then I only did so a few times), but just wanted to say I'll be travelling up from Adelaide on the Friday to attend the weekend. Sadly, I won't be able to enter (small matter of no bike to ride), but still looking forward to it.  :)

Hi KSI,

Well, I can't say I know too much about Pre65 Trials to be honest, but you have piccies of some great looking British bikes, and an interesting "special". I always enjoyed the Sunday out watching the Talmag with a few mates on a "fresh" (= bloody freezing) English morning.

The Pioneer Run from Tattenham Corner to Brighton (in April) was another event I would always try to make a point of going to.

Hi Dick,

Well, i got offered the opportunity to relocate to Aus, so I grabbed it!
The weather in Adelaide seems to suit me (so far). It's red hot, but with no humidity to speak of. Which is just as well as I really don't take to humid zones. Mind you, the Adelaide locals have told me that there hasn't been a heatwave this year. So I guess there will be a lot more heat coming along at some point, so I'll have to see how I get on with that when it arrives.

I don't have a bike at the moment. but hope to rectify that asap.

I'm chasing women as best I can. but as I get older, they seem to be able to run faster, while I run slower every day! (i think my life is turning into a Benny Hill sketch! :))

Anyhoo, good to hear from you, glad you remembered. Please say "Hello" to the Farleigh gang for me.

Nathan (HBS).

PS: The "Nathan" Davey Crocket mentions is not me (at least I don't think so), as I don't own, and have never owned a Volvo.
PPS: I still covet your KSI! ;)

Hello Dick, welcome.

I believe I have met you when I was still living in England (I'm in Adelaide SA now). It was at Farleigh Castle in 2007. Myself and my mate Colin were racing (*ahem* "riding") and we were parked up next to you, Neil (CCM 2stroke), Grouty (CCM) and Panles (Honda/Maico hybrid). The weather was on the blustery side.
I was riding a 1980 Cagiva 250 twinnie (I blew the bloody clutch up that weekend) and my mate was on a mark 12 'taco 370.

Glad to hear you're still racing. I'd like to get back to Farleigh at some stage.
No probs if you don't remember any of the above, just thought I'd mention it.

Regards,
Nathan (Hakan's beer stop)

Hello Trevor, nice to hear from someone else in SA. Hope to catch up with you at a meeting/start line in the not too distant future.

Hi Chris, gave your number a call, but you must be busy. I'll give it another go tomorrow eve.

Hi Freaky, I don't have an MA licence at the moment. But that should easily be rectified (I'd like to think), I'll investigate. Thanks for the offer of a lend bike. I've no problem flagging or knocking in poles whilst I don't have a bike myself. I know what it's like to try and find flaggies for races.

Regards,
Nathan (HBS).

Hello Chris, ok, will do. I'll give you a call during this eve (Mon 31/1/2011).
