Just to confirm fat toys post, I ordered one on Friday, collected it today from Watson's motorcycle. Total price from the dealer was $7 neat. I got the impression they are in plentiful supply.

$9 plus postage? Forget it, buy it from a dealer in Oz mate. Cheap as chips, or if you want my old one for free you can have it, but it's cloudy and yellowed.

Got one, thanks for all the tips. I've bought a brand spankin new one from Thailand. Reasonable price and no dints, cracks, or scratches. By the way, I still have a spare magneto cover which is now for sale.

Thanks, I saw the ones from overseas, the postage is the killer, I didn't want to pay $90 to $100 with postage. The yanks won't even use a USPS flat rate box, I asked. I hadn't found the one in Oz but you're right, it's very ordinary. There is another one in Taiwan cheaper than UK or USA but I was hoping to shop at home.

Tah

I am in need of a plastic left side (air box side) cover for my 1978 Suzuki TS185 restoration, can anybody help? My bike is red but any colour would do. I have a magneto/chain engine cover for a swap if needed.

I am a mostly member on this forum so you blokes don't know me, however I have known Zane for over 50 years and he's been a close personal friend for over 25 years. I've watched this "incident" develop first hand over the last few weeks. I can confirm as an eye witness that Zane did everything above board and with the best of intentions of helping out a "mate". There are a few men in this world who I consider honest beyond reproach and who always try to do the best by other people and Zane is up there with the best of them.

It was disappointing to say the least to see him treated so shabbily.

I trust the bloke with my life!
