A long shot perhaps but if anyone has a silencer to suit a “77 IT250D let me know.
Alternatively, if anyone knows of an aftermarket maker for one, I’d appreciate a heads up.
I was hoping GMC was making them, but seems not for this model.

Thanks everyone. I’m in contact with Matt @ V1 now and hope he can set me up with a tank. I 100% agree, the new Clarke tank seems like the way to go vs finding a used unit.

Does anyone have a spare tank for an RM250N/RM400N that isn't cracked that they'd be open to selling? Its the final piece to my resto puzzle.

I’ve been told it’s repairable, only the quotes I’ve received have been for $500-$600 including the welding and a good hydroblast. I figured I’d skip the hassle and try to find a descent used one as a new staring point.. finding an Uncracked one and then paying someone to hydroblast and go from there.
Happy to email you pics if you want to quote a price to repair though.

Guys,
I've been searching ebay the world over for a descent '79 250/400 Swing Arm and have come up empty.
Any tips on a wrecker anywhere in OZ who may have one, or better yet, does any one have one they'd be keen to sell?
Mine has a sizable crack and the suspension mounting tab has cracked off on one side.
I'm happy to pay $150 + the shipping if anyone has one in reasonable condition.

For Sale / 82/83/84 Suzuki RM80 rims (2 sets)

2 x Sets of RM80 rims for $100.
Set one is stamped "982" which i believe will fit a 1982 model and newer.
Set two is stamped "1083" which will fit 1983/1984 model RM80's.
4 x OEM rims in total -all Takasago Japan.
Sizes and stamping as follows:
Takasago J 14X1.60 DOT 153 JAPAN 1083
Takasago J 17X1.40 DOT 153 JAPAN 1083
Takasago J 17X1.40 DOT 152 JAPAN 982
Takasago J 14X1.60 DOT 102 JAPAN 982
Three of the rims are in very good, usable condition -just need new tyres and bearings fitted.
The set marked '1083 is in good condition and has come from a bike that saw limited use.
The backwheel marked 14X1.60 DOT 102 JAPAN 982 has a crack but might make a good spare -especially if you want to salvage some spokes or need a rear hub.
No brake plates or axles included
Happy to send pics if you are interested.
Currently listed on Ebay as well.
$100 for the lot.
