I rode one the same a few years back, an ex Leisk/Jobe  RC500 that Mick Doohan has and couldn't believe how fast it was and how it pulled hard and strong all thru the revs and just kept pulling.
Yes, I rode this one too and that is exactly how it felt to me.

It is on an old video tape from 1995. I'll have to find it and then have it converted to digital.

Not sure why the publisher decided to not do a reprint as it sold out quick. Used copies go for a fortune now. I'll write another one in the future and include more of the collection.

Yes it is all true and I am so grateful to be the curator of that bike. The best part is Joel and I became best friends since then. We talk on the phone at least once a month and either he comes to my house or I go to his house once a year.

Funny stuff. I still have my original 8-track tape "Back in Black" from the early 80's. They are still
very popular over here.

We just put up a facebook page. One for Terry Good and one for MXworksbike.

I've really never been into that but it's there.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Happy to share. I added more pics of inside the motor etc check it out. I should get the restoration segment done this week. Ake and I went through the series race by race on the phone, I'll get to that article and his photo archive next. Too many bikes too little time.
