G'day kids ;-) just thought I'd let you know (and yes I should've done it earlier) the Temora motorcycle club will be running round 3 of the golden wheels series on this coming Sunday 12/4/15 gates open at 7am with practice starting at 9am.
Come down and check out the BRAND NEW kiosk and get some laps in before the titles, we will be running a 250cc classic class and a 500cc classic class.....

Ha ha ha.... Thanks boys, we'll have to catch up at the titles.... If not before then ;-) lmao

P.s. I was informed today that the title meeting has been moved forward to the 5th/6th of September, as Temora has possibly the largest aviation museum in Aust, and it looks like they are planning a huge fly in on the weekend of the 26th and 27th, and all accommodation has been booked out......... So the clubs decision was to move it to the 5th and 6th which we hope will help..... Regards Ash 0447044732

Thanks Jim, that's what I like to hear ;-)
Not people whinging and bitching about what tyres they "want" to use, everyone needs to understand that everyone "will" be running the same tyres, so they're wont be any advantages in the tyres, so save your money up.....so that you can fill your esky's  with lots more beer..... And make sure you all enjoy yourselves while your here in Temora.......

That's fair enough ktm47, maybe I shouldn't have wrote it down quite like that.... But atleast they understand, we as a club are trying to keep classic dirt track alive and when we get put down by a few people who have not ridden on the track at all, letter lone raced on the track at the 2013 titles when we raced under the same tyre rule...... It does become quite annoying.

G'day everyone........
Yes it's true, the Temora club will be holding the 2015 Australian classic titles on the 26th and 27th of September 2015, yes it will be both a classic and post classic title meet and yes it will be a TRIALS tyre / speedway tyre only meeting oem wheel sizes...... We are hoping to make the 2015 title meet, bigger and better than our last effort in 2013
Please support us in our best efforts to keep classic dirt track alive in Australia

And just a friendly little hint that if you turn up with trails tyres on this year expecting to race...... I will personally tell you to f$&k off, it's a simple rule to make it cheaper and easier for "everyone" I am no different I also have to use trials tyres..... So if you don't like it don't ride..... SIMPLE isn't it ;-)

G'day everyone I'm chasing a 1990 cr80 seat, although a 1988-1995 seat will get me out of trouble, also chasing number plates to suit the same bike..... just trying to make my super fast POSTY a little more comfortable for this years 100 lap posty challenge at Temora in October........... We'd be more than happy to run it here at TEMORA again, but it's a bit unfair to everyone else. Honestly i'd love to see condobolin hold it, i'm sure they held the classic titles back there in 90's anyhow i believe that it needs to be run on an oil track (loose or hard) otherwise it'll be impossible to run all the events and i think splitting the meeting into classic and post classic will kill it, there just is'nt enough entries by doing that to make it a successful meeting....... anyhow best wishes to the club that takes it on..... and i'll TRY my best to make it to the 2014 classic titles ( no matter where they are ) REGARDS : ASH 666

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE RIDERS FRIENDS AND FAMILIES THAT SUPPORTED THE 2013 CLASSIC TITLES LAST WEEKEND AT THE WOODLANDS SPEEDWAY AT TEMORA, IN MY OPINION I'VE NEVER MET SUCH A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AT A RACE MEETING AS I DID LAST WEEKEND, WITH I THINK ABOUT 131 RIDERS INVOLVED "EVERYBODY" HAD ATLEAST 130 GOOD FRIENDS AROUND THEM, PLUS SOME AWESOME RACING IN MOST OF THE CLASSES SURE DID KEEP THE SPECTATORS ON THERE FEET.......... HATS OFF TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS, AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU "ALL" BACK AT WOODLANDS CIRCUIT REAL SOON  : REGARDS ASH

WELL STEVE......... I ALSO CONFRONTED THE OFFICIALS ABOUT THE SAME BIKE WITH THE SAME TYRES, AND I WAS TOLD THAT BECAUSE OF A TYPO ON THE ENTRY FORM ( TRAILS TYRES INSTEAD OF TRIALS TYRES ) THE TYRES WERE OK, ANYHOW AFTER INSPECTING THE TYRES IN QUESTION I TOLD THE RIDER "BEST OF LUCK WITH THOSE TYRES" I KNOW I WOULD'VE PREFERED MY TRIALS TYRES OVER HIS SELECTION. I'VE ALSO BEATEN REALLY GOOD RIDERS ON 450'S WITH WET MOTARD TYRES ON WHILE I WAS RIDING MY 06 YZ250 2STROKE WITH "TRIALS TYRES ON" ( I'M NOT TRYING TO GLOUT, JUST TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT YOU "CAN" BEAT THEM NO MATTER WHAT TYRES THEY USE....... ANYHOW IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID THE $70 AND PUT IN A FORMAL PROTEST, WHILE THE BIKES WERE IMPOUNDED
ANYHOW I HOPE EVERYONE ENJOYED THEMSELVES AT THE WOODLANDS CIRCUIT, AND YOU ARE ALL MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME BACK, WE HAVE THE 100 LAP POSTY CHALLENGE + CLUB DAY ON SUNDAY THE 27TH OF OCTOBER AND WE'LL BE RUNNING 250 AND 500 CLASSIC CLASSES ON THE DAY....... ATT: RACERS, THERE IS A RUMOUR GETTING AROUND THAT A COUPLE OF RIDERS ARE PLANNING ON TURNING UP TO THE AUSSIE CLASSIC TITLES WITH 17 INCH MOTARDS ON THE REAR OF THEIR BIKES BECAUSE THERE BIKES CAME OUT WITH 17INCH WHEELS ON THE BACK.................LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY BOYS AND GIRLS, AS STATED ON THE "ENTRY FORM" THIS TITLE MEET WILL BE A TRIALS / SPEEDWAY TYRE MEETING "ONLY" IF YOU WANT TO RUN A KNOBBY ON THE FRONT GO FOR YOUR LIFE BUT IF YOU TURN UP WITH A OIL / MOTARD TYRE ON THE BACK, YOU'LL BE PACKING YOUR GEAR AND "WATCHING" THE RACING !!!!   REGARDS:ASH
