« on: May 08, 2014, 08:16:41 pm »
the csc event is run under a aasa permit and has nothing to do with ma/mv except that aasa will allow the ma senior licence which gives those riders insurance cover with aasa.
the entry cost is $90.00 regardless of licence.

TO ALL THOSE RIDERS WHO WANT TO RIDE THE CSC SERIES EVENTS WHO HOLD A CURRENT MA SENIORS NATIONAL LICENCE. YOU CAN NOW RIDE OUR SERIES EVENTS AS AASA HAS INFORMED US THAT THEY WILL RECOGNISE THE MA SENIOR NATIONAL LICENCE AND COVER THOSE ENTRANTS UNDER THEIR INSURANCE. SO THE UPSHOT IS, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO TAKE OUT THE AASA CLUB LICENCE,SHOW THE MA LICENCE AT THE SIGN, PAY THE ENTRY FEE AND YOUR AWAY. 8) 8) THE RUMOUR THAT WAS STARTED AT PBBB THAT THE CLUB HAD BEEN DIS AFFILIATED IS NOT CORRECT :o :o

Suzuki / Re: Suzuki PE175 float height on a new Mikuni VM34
« on: April 29, 2014, 02:43:06 pm »
legowt
to measure the float height for the loose float type carby you need to
1 take out the main jet from the carby
2 measure between the carb body to the float tang
3 the measurement is 12.9 to 14.9 mm
to do this measurement you can make up a gauge or set up the depth gauge on a set of calipers to the distance I set mine to the centre at about 14mm.
this detail is in the Clymer manual for 175 to 400 pe's this also gives the jets, slide, needles to run in the 34mm carby.

thanks

« on: March 18, 2014, 02:55:52 pm »
the entry fee for 2013 was $115 or approx $105 if a ma licence was purchased, this year our entry fee will be $90.00

Competition / Re: CHEAPER ENTRY FEES
« on: March 18, 2014, 01:39:05 pm »
the csc took this action firstly for our members to get a cheaper way of competing in  csc series events. last year our members were paying $55.00 plus $11.00 for a one day comp licence and rider levy or $290.00 for the annual licence and again $11.00 rider levy plus club costs which equates to an entry fee of $115.00 which includes the one day licence and levy or approx. $105 which includes the cost on the national licence and rider levy. so the cost savings to our members will be the costs of the ma licence fee as opposed to the $50.00 aasa annual licence fee and the cheaper 014 entry fee.
this year all members will pay the same $50.00 annual aasa licence and $90.00 per event this covers a break up of insurance and club costs per rider for the event.
as we are affiliated with mv our members have been advised that they can ride other mv clubs events and depending on the number of events the one day comp licence would suit or if they were to ride 6 or more mv events then a national licence would be the cheaper alternative. also if they wished to compete in a national championship the one event national licence would suit.
what we see is that we have provided a cheaper alternative for our members who ride only csc series events and a choice if they also wish to ride mv permitted events.
