LOL, yep the owner was surprised at how stupid the thieves (18yr olds) were. They didn't remove Matts racing number or any of the other stickers and decals.

It's a mates bike.
Um, not sure, I think so. It will be two weeks before forensics from Tamworth can finger print the van the bike was taken from.  >:(
Not trying to be racist, just saying, it was two murri kids found riding the bike.  The coppers said they usually nick the bike then hide it in the bush for a couple of weeks, let things cool off, then retrieve it. This pair were too impatient and got busted by the owners mates who recognised it.

2008 model. Stolen from Gunnedah NSW. 13/2/2014
This bike is used for freestyling. Obvious distinguishing features are black rims and red hoses.  Also has honda handlegrips and modifications to suit freestyling.

according to the site I got the needle from (bikes n bits in the US) it's the right one, but the mechanic bloke reckons the one that's in it is better, so he's left there.
No drama, just a curiosity

OK, so it's a road bike, not dirt, but I thought you folk might know.
Last year I bought an '81 SR250. I recently bought a new needle for the carby but the bloke who was going to fix it for me says it's not the right one.
In 81 there was a 250H and 250TH (i think) How can I tell which one mine is??

oh God, I daren't mention the 360 to him,
it's his dream to have one of each, mx250 360 500 or whatever the heck they are  ::)
(and he believes the 75 mx250 is the bestest bike ever. I think he'll be in for a shock when he throws his mammoth leg over and the poor bike grunts and groans and struggles to get moving under his weight) :o

thanks. He did say he thought it started with 509, but would have to check (and hasn't)
I've noticed some of the clever folk in here can spot something outta place a mile off on some old bikes, so thought I'd ask.

Is there not many bikes in the pre 78 class?
Nob's 'gunna' resurrect his 75 yammy with a view to some Heaven type racing.
(At the moment he can't even view his feet over his beerbelly, so I'm not holding my breathe for it to happen)
