Tech Talk / Re: Curing handlebar vibration.
« on: September 18, 2018, 07:39:18 pm »
Most of the old RM's had engine bolts that were too small in diameter for the case holes. The fix was to re drill the case holes and match with correct diameter bolts. It works in reducing vibration.
Maybe consider lead fishing sinkers as an easy buy .

The first time I heard about isometric and isotonic exercises was when I bought a " bull worker" or was it a bullbar ? from mick simmons in bankstown square around 1978. I should have asked for a refund!
My physio says the idea with inversion tables is to not invert more than around 45' and then after about 20 seconds take yourself back to horizontal for the same time before going into the upright/ where you started position. Theory being that you don't need full vert to get the effect of gravity on your spine and the supporting muscles can over react and tighten if you do and also they react better if you give them time to adjust at the horizontal position on the way back up. He said these tables are really popular with jockeys

Can't see pics but thought Hooker did a pipe for that bike also

I think the header diameter on the 370/400 will be too large to fit the 250 manifold.
I did try a PE250T chamber on my RM250T and it made it a little slower but seemed to give it more torque - better for mx on a rough track I thought. It is to do with the baffling and mellows the delivery

250B has best motor IMO . The closest they got to to the euro motors. Easy power

250A& B have leading axle forks. 125A has inline forks. 125B has leading axle forks with more length extending below both the 250A&B. Not too many 250C's in oz compared with the C2's

Husqvarna / husky WR 250. 1982. Oil capacity
« on: September 18, 2016, 01:39:24 pm »
Can someone let me know the correct amount of gearbox oil used in an oil change for the 1982 WR250. Cycle World article has it at 3pt. That's about 1800ml which sounds a lot !
