Husqvarna / Wanted Husky Auto
« on: July 05, 2018, 07:08:40 PM »
Hi everyone
My boss is after a Husky auto of any description. Not to worried about condition. He would be interested in doing a deal with a 82 WR430 that is real nice but he would just purchase the auto as well. Thanks John

General Discussion / VETS TRAINING AT ECHO VALLEY
« on: March 17, 2015, 11:11:58 AM »
Hi everyone. Just getting a feel as to how many people would be interested in doing a 2 day rider training at Echo valley Toowoomba. It would NOT be aimed at vintage bikes but at all riders over 35 on what ever bike you wish to ride. I would recommend anything with long travel up to modern. I already have a bit of interest.

General Discussion / Tough Kids
« on: May 26, 2014, 04:14:45 PM »
I run a school in Toowoomba on the weekend & we had a bit of a incident. I had an 8 year old girl in the group who was riding rely well. She had a close encounter with a poly pipe & fell & broke her arm. While sitting on the ground with 2 elbows on 1 arm all she could say "I don't want to go I want to ride my Bike". This young girl is tough. Most of the boys would look like babies compared to her. Maybe the next Megan Rutlige?

General Discussion / Maybe a scam
« on: March 18, 2014, 02:30:31 PM »
Hi guys. At work we have just had a guy email us about fixing his bike that he just bought. He claims to of only just moved to the area & is hearing impaired & wants us to take his credit card & we pay the freight company via western union & keep $500 as deposit to work on his bike. I may be wrong but I smell a rat. Anyone who receives an email along these lines I would be cautious.

General Discussion / Toowoomba Nationals Today
« on: August 25, 2013, 07:10:00 PM »
Just spent a great day with my new club hosting the MX Nationals. After recently moving from Moree to Dalby I needed a new club. What was a concern was the lack of MX1 & MX2 entries. MXD had 34 riders wich is ok but mid 20s for the other classes is very low I thought.Any one got any ideas why.Iwas on the finnish line with one of my new club mates & my wife was in the score tower.I dont know why people stand back & let everyone else do stuff.Doing jobs is so cool. You get close & personal with the racing & you see some of the behind seens stuff that is normally hidden.

Any hints on setting the ignition timing on the old beast. Just fitted a new points plate. Shocked it was still available new from Yamaha
