Title: BEER
Post by: Ted on March 11, 2014, 07:04:29 pm
Just drinking a stubby of Carlton Dry.

The label reads " The extended brewing process removes sugars creating a smooth crisp finish with lower carbohydrates "

Smooth crisp finish...WTF

It's starting to rival wine with its BS spiels

What do other beers say ?

The trick is to drink it till you can't read.

"Crisp finish". They should consider "happy ending"
 :)

I reckon the lower carbohydrates spiel is all bullshit. After listening to people telling me I had to get off my Melbourne bitter stubbies if I wanted to loose weight I went and bought a box of "Pure Blonde", drank it that night and when I weighed myself the next morning I hadn't lost any weight at all. What a waste of money ;D

I discovered early on that I'm allergic to beer. Whenever I drink it I get dizzy, feel ill and fall over a lot. :P

You need to build up your immunity then.....  8)

It's all in the advertising. Last year in Bali, I saw a large, handpainted sign outside a bar in Legian that read :

ICE COLD PI55 !

No bullsh1t mate !

Freeze your fkn balls off !

How could a man resist... 8)

That's hilarious, I was reading exactly the same frog shit line off my stubby just minutes before I read this! ;D either there lines about less calories are bullshit or the fat content of pies is increasing! It's either CUB's or 4nTwenty's fault I'm fat not mine!! ;D ;)

The low carb beer thing IS complete bullshit. There are bugger all carbs in beer to start with. These low carb beers now make up a sizeable part of the market.

I did not think you paused long enough with a beer in hand  to  actually read the label  :)
