looks like front calliper  mounting bracket is welded on, rather than part of casting.

What year would this have been, with Vromans on the watercooled 500 factory Suzuki ? I thought 1984, as it doesn't even seem to have disc brakes. There was a close up picture of one of these bikes on facebook recently and I wish that I had saved it.

A bit of info on works RN 500s, I worked on 1983 Models in 1984,
the Factory stopped Racing at the end of 1983 although they produced spare parts in 2 advance orders early and mid 1984,
they were single downtube frame with offset intake and exhaust, most 1983 bikes were air cooled, Harry Everts was allocated a couple of watercooled bikes, the bike featured for sale, unfortunatley has little in common with 1982 to 1984 works RN500s.

Dave I never let you win
I should have paced myself instead of racing kids in those first laps
I had those RN bits in my hand yesterday
Still remember the worlds best deals on those Maicos I sold you
But what are friends for besides stirring each other

Another pic of the watercooled 500 Suzuki with Harry Everts . The earlier picture that I posted incorrectly had Vromans as the rider, as this was how it was captioned when I copied the picture.

That's Vromans he was 2nd in 1982 to Lackey hence his number in 1983,both he and Everts had watercooled RN500"s from around mid season on.

There must have been other riders that got to use watercooled 500 Suzukis, apart from Vromans and Everts, as this picture suggests ?

I think that is Vromans on W/C RN500, there was only a handfull of them made.
at the end of the year the bikes would have gone to S. Gebeors, where most of them went.
Rinaldi may have got a hold of one of them after end of 1984
GB, that was a good day at Raymond Terrace!

thanks IMO its an aircooled RM converted to watercooling by someone with skills within a Suzuki Team with access to a few goodies.
Probably done in 86 or 87
Nice

Yeah as son says it's a home built water cooled top end. Looks to be in a 84/85 250 chassis.
